To work correctly, 1Blocker Scripts must be enabled and allowed on sites where you want to use it.
How to enable:
On mobile devices, iOS Settings > [Apps] > Safari > Extensions > 1Blocker Scripts.
On the Mac, Safari > Settings > Extensions > 1Blocker Scripts.
How to allow:
In the list of sites at the bottom of iOS Settings > [Apps] > Safari > Extensions > 1Blocker Scripts on mobile devices.
In the list of sites in Safari > Settings > Websites > [Extensions] > 1Blocker Scripts on the Mac.
How to check if 1Blocker Scripts is active
iOS:
Launch Safari.
Open the website you want to browse.
Tap the button on the left side of the address bar:
- iOS 18 and later.
aA - before iOS 18.
The 1Blocker Scripts [JS] icon under Manage Extensions should be highlighted in blue.
macOS & iPadOS:
The extension's icon will show up in the Safari toolbar when you activate it, and it should also be highlighted in blue.
Please note that YouTube frequently updates its ad scripts, which requires filter adjustments. These fixes typically take some time to implement. If 1Blocker Scripts stops blocking YouTube ads, it may take up to a day to resolve this.
Important notes
If you find the icon distracting, you can remove it from the Safari toolbar without deactivating 1Blocker Scripts. To do so, right-click the icon, press Customize Toolbar, and remove it from the toolbar.
If ads appear on the first load after enabling 1Blocker Scripts, it's worth refreshing the page to make Safari reconfigure the tool.
Please make sure you are running iOS 16.0+ or macOS 13.0+.
