Once 1Blocker is installed, let's configure its core features.
But first, we recommend this article for an overview of the tools we use: How 1Blocker protects you.
Enable content blocking in Safari
On iOS:
Go to iOS Settings > Apps > Safari > Extensions (under "General").
You will find several extensions that belong to 1Blocker there. We recommend enabling all of them in your Safari settings and managing specific filters in the 1Blocker app.
On macOS:
In the Safari browser, go to Safari > Settings > Extensions and activate all 1Blocker extensions available there.
Now, we can enable these categories in the app itself. To do so, you just need to open 1Blocker and turn on the filters you are interested in.
The top-level filters are the following:
Ads
Privacy
Annoyances
Adult Content
Custom Rules
Some filters are divided into several subcategories that you can easily adjust to suit your needs.
The free version of 1Blocker allows using one top-level filter at a time, while multiple blocking categories require 1Blocker Premium.

Activate 1Blocker Premium: Going Premium.
Additional setup - enable in-app blocking
The in-app blocking filter enhances your privacy by stopping known trackers within apps you use when they attempt to collect your personal information.
On iOS:
Launch 1Blocker.
Go to Privacy.
Scroll down to Block In-App Trackers and activate it.
Once the pop-up asking you to install the configuration appears, tap Install Configuration.
Press Allow and follow further instructions.
