As you may have noticed, if 1Blocker's in-app tracking filter is active, a VPN badge might appear in the iOS status bar of your device. iOS triggers it automatically if in-app blocking runs in the DNS Proxy mode.

We would change it, but the system always does it automatically because of how that filtering mode processes data. The DNS Proxy mode itself is preferable as it's more efficient in comparison to its alternative (HTTP Proxy).

It also supports some Personal VPN configurations.
