After updating to iOS 27, iPadOS 27, or macOS 27, 1Blocker's filters may turn off by themselves on some devices.
What you might be seeing:
Turning on a filter, such as Ads or Annoyances, makes another one, such as Privacy, switch itself off.
Filters turn off after you restart the app.
This is caused by a system bug introduced in iOS 27 and macOS 27. It affects how 1Blocker syncs its settings through iCloud, and we plan to address it in an upcoming update of 1Blocker. In the meantime, you can use either of the two solutions below.
#1: Check your iCloud settings
The issue can appear when these iCloud settings are enabled for 1Blocker. Please make sure they are turned on.
iPhone & iPad:
Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Saved to iCloud > See All > 1Blocker
Mac:
System Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Saved to iCloud > See All > 1Blocker
System Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Saved to iCloud > See All > iCloud Drive > Apps syncing to iCloud Drive > 1Blocker
Once they are enabled, 1Blocker's filters should start behaving as expected.
#2: Turn off iCloud Sync in 1Blocker (temporary)
If you'd rather not change your iCloud settings, you can turn off iCloud Sync inside the app:
iPhone & iPad: open 1Blocker, tap the Settings button at the top right, and turn off iCloud Sync.
Mac: open 1Blocker, go to 1Blocker > Settings in the menu bar, and turn off iCloud Sync.
While iCloud Sync is off, your filters, custom rules, and preferences won't sync between your devices, so you may need to set them up separately on each one.
You can turn iCloud Sync back on once the fix is released.
